Go Gators!!

In honor of the first football game of the season - this weekend!!
My husband and I are gator grads, so thought that I'd have a bit of fun with my new lens and a gator tie...these shots make him seem so grown up!

Senior pictures

This was my first experience with senior pictures.  I haven't finished editing them yet - will update when I do, but i think they turned out great!

While I'm on the subject of editing, I take a lot of time editing my pictures to make them *just right*, so I wanted to show you what a difference cropping and color can make...both of the images below are from the same original photograph, they were just edited and cropped differently, amazing!

6 month old

6 months is a great age for pictures!  They look so different then they did as a newborn, but they still really look like a baby.  They can smile and laugh, but they aren't yet very mobile.  This is my son, I took these pictures this weekend.  These pictures were taken indoors with my lighting setup.  Originally, I was fairly concerned because he had a cold (so I had to be fast - and very very goofy,  Elmo helps!!).

5 day old newborn baby

Getting a good picture of a 5 day old jaundiced baby can be tough, but I think this photo just captures him perfectly! 

Welcome to TMKC Photography!

My name is Tonya, and I have been taking pictures since the early 1990s.  With the recent birth of my son, I have gotten more enthusiastic about photography, and have realized how important it is to capture that perfect moment in time.

Currently, I am trying to build up my portfolio, as I try to perfect my photography skills.  Because of that, I need models.  Until January 2011, I will be doing free photoshoots in the Gainesville Florida area.  I specialize in babies and children, however, I'm also willing to do engagement photos, senior photos, and family photos as well.
